Drop-in Studio Time | Uninstructed!
Ceramic experience is REQUIRED, to participate in this offering.
Service Description
In order to book drop-in sessions you MUST complete at least one multi-week course, be it at Pinch or an alternate studio. Instruction will NOT be provided during these sessions, and you will be responsible for all steps. This includes wedging your clay, recycling your scraps, cleaning up fully etc. You will be flying solo!! Each drop-in studio session will be 90 minutes long, and you will have access to the potter's wheel and all studio tools. Projects will be of your choosing and you will work at your own pace! Have your own clay? You are always welcome to bring your own clay, however it MUST be cone 5 and approved prior to use. Please bring the clay box or a photo of the clay box with you, so that we can ensure it meets our standards. This applies to glaze as well! Want to come back to continue working on a project/trim/glaze etc.? Book the "session cont." option for your follow up session! These continuing sessions may ONLY be utilized for finishing work created at Pinch. We do not offer firing services for pieces made outside of our studio! Please note that setup/cleanup must be factored into your 90 minute designated studio time, it will not be done for you. ​________________ This small, three person, business runs solely on appointment based scheduling. Thus, your mindfulness and consideration of our time and resources is greatly appreciated. ​ Rescheduling Lessons, classes, and drop-in time may be rescheduled one (1) time, free of charge, but must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the scheduled session. Cancellations Lessons, classes, and drop-in time may be canceled for a full refund up until 1 week prior to the scheduled session. For cancellations made within 1 week of the session, there is a fee equal to 50% of the cost of the original booking. Party Modifications No refunds will be made for those in your party unable to attend. Please note: This policy does not change for unexpected life events, obligations or illness.  There is absolutely no refund or rescheduling for no shows.​

Pinch Pottery Studio Booking Policies Pinch is owned and operated by one person, alongside a small team of part-time freelance instructors. Because of this, we run solely on appointment-based scheduling. Your mindfulness and consideration of our time and resources is truly appreciated. When you book with us, you’re not just supporting a small business — you’re reserving a dedicated spot in our limited booking calendar. That time is held specifically for you, which means it cannot be booked by anyone else. One-time lessons, classes, & drop-in studio time: Rescheduling - Lessons, classes, and drop-in time may be rescheduled one (1) time free of charge if the request is made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled session. - Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled session will incur a $50 rescheduling fee. Cancellations - Lessons, classes, and drop-in time canceled at least 7 days prior to the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund. - Cancellations made after 7 days but before 48 hours prior to the scheduled session will receive a 50% refund. - Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable. Party Modifications - No refunds will be issued for party members unable to attend. - If notified before your party arrives and before the session begins, a voucher may be issued in the amount of $78, for the absent participant to use toward a future communal session. - If we are not notified in advance, the absence will be considered a no-call, no-show and no voucher will be provided. Seasonal and specialty workshops: Rescheduling - Seasonal and specialty workshops are ineligible for rescheduling. Cancellations - Seasonal and specialty workshop bookings canceled at least 7 days prior to the scheduled workshop are eligible for a full refund. - Cancellations made after 7 days but before 48 hours prior to the scheduled session will receive a 50% refund. - Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable. Party Modifications - No refunds or vouchers will be issued for party members unable to attend.
