REFUND, RESCHEDULING, & CANCELLATION
POLICIES

This business is owned and operated by one person, as well as a small selection of part-time freelance instructors - as such, Pinch runs solely on appointment based scheduling. Your mindfulness + consideration of our time and resources is greatly appreciated!
With that in mind, when you book a session with us, you are not only supporting a small business, but we are holding a space, specifically for you, within our (limited) booking calendar. This means that your scheduled time slot is no longer able to be booked by anyone else.

Rescheduling
Your health and well-being is very important to us! Lessons, classes, and drop-in time may be rescheduled one (1) time, free of charge, up until 48 hours prior to the start of the scheduled session.
Lessons, classes, and drop-in time rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled session will incur a $50 rescheduling fee.
Workshop tickets and seasonal events cannot be rescheduled.

Private events may be rescheduled up until 1 week prior to the start of the scheduled session.

Cancellations
Lessons, classes, and drop-in time may be canceled for a full refund, with no cancellation fee, up until 1 week prior to the scheduled session.
For cancellations made within 1 week (and prior to 48 hours) of the scheduled session, there is a fee equal to 50% of the cost of the original booking.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable.
​
Workshop tickets and seasonal events are non-refundable.​
​
Private events may be canceled at any time, for a full refund, less the non-refundable deposit of $300.

Party Modifications
No refunds will be made for those in your party unable to attend. However, a voucher can be provided for a future communal session, so long as we were notified of their absence, prior to the arrival of your party, and the start of the session.
If we are not notified prior to the arrival of your party, and the start of the session, then your absent party member will be considered a no call, no show, and therefore they will no longer be eligible for a voucher.
This applies to all sessions; lessons, workshops, drop-in time, and private events.

Refunds
Outside of the reasons detailed above, refunds will strictly be at the owners discretion.
Please note that the cost of your session covers the experience itself. While you have the chance to walk away with one finished, usable ware per person (free of charge), it is not a guarantee. As such, we will not provide you with a refund of any kind, full or partial, when pieces do not turn out as expected.
Similarly, we will not provide refunds for those who pass their pick up window, resulting in the donation of their pieces. This includes accidentally missing your completion notification, the email landing in spam or alternate folders, etc.

Please note:
This policy does not change for unexpected life events, obligations, or a change in your plans.

There are absolutely no refunds, reschedulings, or vouchers provided for no shows.​
​
You will find that many small pottery studios, similar to Pinch, have a strict no-refund policy.
In an effort to keep things fair to all (ourselves included), NO exceptions will be made. We greatly appreciate your respect and understanding.
