PRIVATE EVENTS
Pottery Edition!
Perfect for birthday parties, bridal/bachelorette parties, corporate team building, and anything in between.
HOW IT WORKS
Our private event sessions are crafted with bachelorette parties, birthdays, and corporate team-building in mind. Gather your group, roll up your sleeves, and dive into a hands-on creative experience that’s equal parts fun and memorable. With clay, laughter, and plenty of photo-worthy moments, it’s a fresh alternative to traditional celebrations.
When booking your session, your group will select ONE activity from the following options:
-
Wheel Throwing – shape your own piece on the pottery wheel.
-
Handbuilding – sculpt, pinch, and build your own clay creation.
-
Pottery Painting – decorate a pre-made (handmade by staff) piece with your own designs and colors.
Please note: your group will do only one activity per session. Activities cannot be combined. Each experience is designed to focus fully on the chosen activity so you get the most out of your time. Please explore all three options below, before making your selection.

Private Event FAQ
Why can't we we do all three activities during our event?
Activities cannot be combined, as each activity requires a different studio setup, tools, materials, as well as dedicated instruction. Each experience is designed to focus fully on the chosen activity so you get the most out of your time.
If we choose wheel throwing or handbuilding, can we paint/glaze the pieces ourselves?
Unfortunately, no. Pottery takes time and goes through several stages before it’s ready to be glazed. First, pieces must dry completely (about 1–2 weeks), and then they go through a bisque firing (another 1–2 days). Only after that are they ready for glazing.
If your main interest is decorating, we recommend choosing Option 3: Pottery Painting—a fun, hands-on way to focus on design and color without the wait!
Can I bring food and drinks?
Yes! Snacks and beverages are welcome. We recommend keeping it simple with finger foods that can be enjoyed while working, rather than full meals. All food and drinks must be consumed within your designated session time. Alcohol is permitted for guests 21+.
Can you decorate the space for us and cater our event?
We do not provide decorating or catering services—our focus is on delivering a memorable pottery experience! That said, our studio is already designed to be warm, inviting, and photo-ready. If you’d like to add a personal touch, you’re welcome to bring simple, easy-to-set-up decorations (like balloons or banners) that can be removed at the end of your event.
Can we use the space for more than 2 hours?
Yes - when availability permits, additional time may be added to your event at a prorated rate. This helps offset the cost of reserving studio time that would otherwise be available for another booking. Please note that reserving additional time must be done in advance, at your time of booking.
Will there be other customers in the space during our event?
Nope! When you book a private event at Pinch, the entire studio is reserved just for you and your guests.
