Part-Time Wheel Throwing Instructor

A bit about this position:

This role is perfect for those who enjoy working in a fun, creative, and relaxed environment. You’ll blend customer service with teaching as you lead pottery lessons, classes, and events, while helping to maintain an organized, community-centered studio space.

Hours & Pay:

Sundays from 8:30am–1:00pm (must be able to consistently work these hours, as this is the only shift we are presently hiring for), with the possibility of Thursday evenings and occasional support for workshops and events.

This is a W-2 position paying $25/hour.

Qualifications & requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on ceramics experience, with a strong proficiency in wheel throwing, handbuilding, and glazing techniques

• Ability to teach clearly and confidently in a supportive and approachable environment (warm, patient, and encouraging)

• Significant customer service experience, with a friendly, professional, and engaging approach to guest interactions

• Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented with a consistent work ethic

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills

• Prior teaching experience strongly preferred
